Moss Circuit

Bass-led guitar pop with clipped drums and a fondness for the long outro.

Opening the yard

Moss Circuit build their songs from a bass line first. Guitar comes in sideways, the drums leave space, and the chorus tends to arrive just when the song seems ready to turn somewhere else.

The four-piece started rehearsing above a bicycle workshop in Alderport. Their first EP, Side Street Signals, keeps those room-sized arrangements: a dry snare, two guitars, and voices close enough to hear someone take a breath.

For this set

Expect the EP in full, two new songs, and a loose ending to “Back Gate.” Get down early; the opening set is a good time to get your bearings in the yard.
